The 20-second answer
For practitioners who want to go deeper without spending the whole journey inside a shala. Practice anchors the mornings; Favignana gets the rest of the day.

Ashtanga anchors the mornings. Once practice is over, Favignana is yours to swim, cycle, explore or simply do very little.
We come together for practice and a few shared moments, but we deliberately leave plenty of space around them. No compulsory group programme from breakfast to dinner.
This isn’t a retreat designed to keep you inside one property. Bikes, beaches, coves and island life are part of the journey too.
Non-practitioners are more than welcome. Join your partner, friend or travel companion for the journey and simply skip the morning practice — Favignana still works perfectly well without a yoga mat.
Practice is central to the journey, but it doesn’t take over the itinerary. Once we leave the mat, Favignana gets plenty of space.
This is an island journey built around practice, not a five-star wellness escape. The focus is on Favignana, the community and the time on the mat.
Ashtanga happens in the morning. The upside? When practice is done, you still have almost the whole island day ahead of you.
Meet local guides, artisans and people who live here.
We travel mainly on foot or by bicycle.
Landmark sights and stops beyond the busiest tourist routes.

Clear from the start

01
We meet at Trapani port and take the 18:00 ferry together to Favignana.
It’s a short crossing, but an important one: mainland behind, island ahead. Once in Favignana, we check in, settle down and meet again for our welcome dinner.
No practice today. Getting to an island is enough of a programme.
In practice
Meeting point: Trapani port · by 17:00
Ferry: 18:00 · included
You can arrive and depart from either Trapani or Palermo airport, whichever works best for your flights.
Exact meeting point details will be sent closer to departure.
If you fly into Palermo, public buses to Trapani run almost every hour, so getting there is easy and convenient.
02
The first practice starts at 07:00.
We spend two hours together on the mat, then Favignana gets the rest of the day. ^^A bicycle is included for the full day^^, giving you the simplest way to move around the island and decide where to stop.
Cala Rossa, Cala Azzurra, a long lunch, another swim — there’s no group sightseeing programme to keep up with. The structure belongs to the morning; the island belongs to you.
03
Morning practice sets the rhythm again. After that, the day opens up.
If you want to see Favignana from the water, today you can join an optional boat excursion around the island’s coves. If you’d rather stay on land, nothing needs replacing: beach, bike, lunch, nap. All perfectly valid plans.
The boat is an option, not the reason the day exists.
04
One more morning practice, then one last full day with the island.
By now you know where you want to swim again, which road you didn’t take and possibly where you want lunch. There’s no need to manufacture another organised activity just because there’s space in the itinerary.
Later, we come back together for the farewell dinner.
05
There’s time for one final morning on the mat before checking out.
Then we take the included ferry back to Trapani and return to the mainland. From there, everyone continues independently — home, Sicily, or somewhere else entirely.
Five days. Four nights. Quite a lot happened before breakfast.
Accommodation and rooms
The base price uses a shared double room. A single room can be requested with a supplement, subject to availability. Rooming choices are confirmed clearly before payment.
